715.0 Building Sewer Materials

715.1 – 715.3

The building sewer, beginning five feet from the building, shall be of prescribed material and joining methods. Replacement of existing sewers using trenchless methods shall be in accordance with ASTM F1216.

Chapter 7, section I of the 2017 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code lists prescribed materials and methods for drainage systems.

717.0 Size of Building Sewers

Minimum size of building sewer is based on the number of plumbing fixtures drained. No building sewer shall be smaller than the building drain.
